Story
The plot of DR. 56 revolves around a murder mystery and features many of the standard characters found in detective films. What makes it stand out, though, is how the protagonist is depicted as the helpless victim of a larger plot. Director Rakesh Anandleela employs universal themes like love and loss to connect medical concepts to the movie experience, which is especially effective because of the audience’s interest in the mystery element. And, to be fair, the director does achieve some success.
Then, Arjun manages to evade the CBI’s pursuit. Priya crosses paths with a man (Raj Deepak Shetty) who says he is a doctor and knows where Arjun is. She travels with Arjun’s doctor to his village. The film focuses on the ending for the doctor and Priya. The audience believes Priyamani’s portrayal as a CBI agent, but the filmmaker wastes her potential. She only sits around and issues commands to her two subordinates.
