Kristen Anne Bell is an actress from the United States. While attending the Tisch School of the Arts.

She began her acting career by performing in theatre productions.

She made her Broadway debut as Becky Thatcher in the comedy musical The Adventures of Tom Sawyer, and she later appeared in a Broadway revival of the show.

She went on to star in the action thriller Spartan (2004) and got plaudits for her portrayal in the television drama Gracie's Choice.

Her breakthrough performance was as the titular character in the teen noir drama television series Veronica Mars (2004–2007), for which she received critical praise.

Bell played Mary Lane in the musical film Reefer Madness during her tenure on Veronica Mars. The part was reprised in The Movie Musical 

Bell played Elle Bishop in the superhero drama Heroes. In the teen drama series, she played the titular narrator.

Bell also appeared in the Showtime comedy series House of Lies as Jeannie van der Hooven, the female lead.

She won a Golden Globe for her performance as Eleanor Shellstrop in the critically acclaimed NBC comedy series The Good Place.
